Sometimes every family needs a little help. From a child’s very first day of life, how that child is parented builds the foundation for a strong, healthy future.
Families with multiple risk factors, including poverty, social isolation, language and cultural barriers, single parenthood, drug and/or alcohol addiction, and history of violence are at an even greater disadvantage as they typically do not have the support, resources, and/or skills to raise a strong, healthy family.
Parent Trust for Washington Children provides families with the tools and support necessary to prepare children for school and life success.

We believe that strong families begin at home – and that those strong families help us to create thriving communities.
It is critical to the fulfillment of our mission that all family members participate in the growth and health of the family.
Through listening to the family and helping to respond to their needs, Parent Trust’s programs concentrate on mentoring and coaching a family to greater success and independence.
