The Family Help Line is a statewide, toll-free telephone line and online searchable database. The Family Help Line is available to parents, caregivers, and anyone who has an interest or questions about a child in their community.

We provide callers with a greater understanding and awareness of child development, guidance, and resources. Speaking with a Family Help Line parenting coach, you will receive the information and referral you need, as well as encouragement, support, and a listening ear - essential ingredients for hope.

How To Participate

• You will hear a brief message in Spanish and then options in English.

Parenting Information Line: Press "1"
A menu of recorded messages about helpful resources in each of the 39 counties in Washington State.

Stress Reduction Line: Press "1"
A menu of recorded stress reduction and parenting tips. Simple, helpful ideas when a Parenting Coach isn't available.

Live Coaching Line: Press "2"
Callers can expect to receive information and referral, parenting education and techniques, advocacy, individualized support, assistance and follow up when needed. A parenting coach is available Monday-Friday 9AM-10PM and Saturday-Sunday 10AM-6PM. If you are unable to directly access a Parenting Coach, you can leave a message. All voice mails are returned as soon as a Parenting Coach is available.

Spanish Speaking Line: Press "3"
The Spanish speaking Parenting Coach is available to receive calls and respond to messages Monday-Friday 6PM-10PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10AM to 6PM.
