Families In Recovery Group Facilitator: North Seattle and/or Everett AND Tacoma
Family Help Line Program Assistant/Work Study
Location:
Downtown Seattle, WA
Brief Description:
The Family Help Line is seeking someone who is interested in implementing the principles of family support for statewide callers to the Family Help Line. A position with the Family Help Line requires empathy and a desire to assist callers with varied backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Windows preferred.
- Qualified to receive Work Study.
- Willingness to make a minimum commitment of 2 academic quarters.
- Willingness to learn
Additional, preferred qualifications:
- Experience on a crisis or info/referral line.
- Knowledge of child development

Position Overview:
Title: Families in Recovery Group Facilitator
Location:
Tacoma, WA
Brief Description:
Energetic leadership of weekly parent mutual-help group in Tacoma, WA. Facilitation based on the principles of family support, health, safety and parent leadership.
Required Qualifications:
Caring, compassionate leader
- Experienced facilitator who understands group process
- College degree + 3 years experience or 7 years equivalent work
experience
- Knowledge of family resources and child development
- Commitment to family empowerment and ending all forms of
family violence
Compensation: $15 per hour + travel stipend
Hours: Tuesday afternoons, 4 hours per week
