You can help build strong families by volunteering your time and skills. Parent Trust relies on volunteers to provide support and education for parents and children, help in the office, and work on fundraising events.

Family Help Line Coach
This statewide, telephone support line provides free, immediate and confidential service aimed at preventing child abuse by increasing family management skills and decreasing social isolation faced by many parents. The Family Help Line Parenting Coach offers parents emotional support, parenting information, and referrals to community resources.

Board Member
Parent Trust for Washington Children is seeking individuals to join our statewide Board of Directors. Board members help to insure fiscal responsibility, raise funds, and serve as an ambassador to the community. Our fun, active Board meets every other month in Seattle.

Previous board experience desired but not required. Board members must be willing to volunteer at least 2-6 hours per month (depending on meeting schedules), attend meetings, and participate in agency fundraising activities. We are looking for individuals with a desire to help strengthen families, prevent child abuse, enhance early brain development, and prepare children for school and life.

Special Event Volunteer
Parent Trust for Washington Children conducts two special events each year: A Taste of Spring Wine Tasting in May and Mad Hatter Tea Party & Auction in November. Whether it’s check-in, raffle ticket sales, or dressing up as an Alice in Wonderland character, these events rely on the generosity of volunteers. Age requirement for Wine Tasting is 21 years.
