By bus:
Several bus lines of King County Metro Transit serve Roosevelt Way and the surrounding neighborhood. Among them are routes 66, 67, 79 (north and southbound) and 355 (southbound only). Use Google Maps (maps.google.com) or Metro’s Trip Planner (tripplanner.kingcounty.gov) to learn which buses can help you get to the clinics, or call Metro at 206-553-3000 for assistance.

Parking:  parking is in the underground lot, and is fully validated for class participants. On weekday evenings and Saturdays, no parking ticket is necessary and you do not need to register your vehicle.

Classrooms:
Classes meet in either in the 1st Floor Conference Room, or the 4th floor lobby of the Pediatric Care Clinic. Birth classes and Working with Labor classes typically meet on the 4th floor; Breastfeeding, Newborn Care, Conscious Fathering and Babysafe classes typically meet on the 1st floor. Check your registration confirmation for verification of room, or follow the signs once you get to the clinic.

  • To get to the 1st Floor Conference Room, head towards the reception desk and veer left. Enter the doorway marked E131/Administration; you’ll see the conference room on your left.
  • To get to the 4th Floor PCC lobby, take the elevators to the 4th floor and turn east, towards Roosevelt. The lobby is to the right of the check-in desk.
  • Bathrooms are located by the elevators; there are also bathrooms down the hallway marked “Laboratory” on the 1st floor (to the right of the receptionist desk).

Water fountains are available, but you may want to bring a water bottle or other drink. Families should be encouraged to sign up to bring a snack each week…one or two for the first week (by email communication), others may sign up in class for subsequent weeks of the series.
