While many of our clients take our online classes for personal reasons, many take them for a court or legal requirement. While we strive for court approval in as many counties as possible, there is no formal regulation on anger management classes on a state or Federal level. We recommend getting prior approval from the court, judge, probation or your attorney before starting any anger management program to ensure it will meet your specific requirements.

Gentle Sleep Coaching refers to an approach developed by Kim West, LCSW-C (a.k.a. “The Sleep Ladyâ€). The Gentle Approach involves gathering information about you, your baby, and your family. It takes into account the baby’s development, temperament, and feeding, as well as parents’ goals, philosophy, and needs to devise a plan for improving sleep that does not involve leaving the baby alone to cry.
This is not about forcing you or your baby into a pre-designed, crying-based program. We work together to come up with a plan that you feel good about. (Keywords: Baby, Father, Infant, Mental Health, Mother, Postpartum, Support, )

WISe wraparound
CCS provides wraparound services for children and youth with multiple and complex needs in Whatcom and Skagit counties. A child/youth’s history and needs, as well the family’s interest in participating, are taken into consideration when deciding whether our wraparound program offers the appropriate level of care. The wraparound process is intended to achieve positive outcomes by providing a structured, creative and individualized team planning process with youth, family and natural supports as key members of the team. The program is voluntary and each enrolled family is assigned a Care Coordinator who supports the team process. An assigned Family Support Partner represents the parent perspective and serves as parent support and advocate. Youth Partners are available for older youth to engage them in their own treatment. An assigned therapist works closely with youth, their families, and the entire wraparound team. Youth Wrap Around Program Skagit County
A child/youth’s history and needs, as well the family’s interest in participating, are taken into consideration when deciding whether one of our wraparound programs offers the appropriate level of care. The wraparound process is intended to achieve positive outcomes by providing a structured, creative and individualized team planning process with youth, family and natural supports as key members of the team. The program is voluntary and each enrolled family is assigned a Facilitator who supports the team process. An assigned Family Support Partner represents the parent perspective and serves as parent support and advocate. Wraparound services adhere to certain defining principles, such as youth-guided, family-centered, strengths-based and culturally relevant.
Access to Intensive Wraparound requires an assigned Division of Child and Family Services (DSHS) caseworker and prior DCFS/DSHS authorization. A referral from a mental health professional or authorized school personnel is required. VOA does the intake to begin the process of assigning a Wraparound team after a referral is submitted.
