WISe wraparound
CCS provides wraparound services for children and youth with multiple and complex needs in Whatcom and Skagit counties. A child/youth’s history and needs, as well the family’s interest in participating, are taken into consideration when deciding whether our wraparound program offers the appropriate level of care. The wraparound process is intended to achieve positive outcomes by providing a structured, creative and individualized team planning process with youth, family and natural supports as key members of the team. The program is voluntary and each enrolled family is assigned a Care Coordinator who supports the team process. An assigned Family Support Partner represents the parent perspective and serves as parent support and advocate. Youth Partners are available for older youth to engage them in their own treatment. An assigned therapist works closely with youth, their families, and the entire wraparound team. Wraparound services adhere to certain defining principles, such as youth-guided, family-centered, strengths-based and culturally relevant.(Keywords: ADD, ADHD, Abuse, Adoption, Anger management, Autism, Counseling, Child Protective Services, Depression, Disability, Father, Foster Care, Health, Home Visit, Mental Health, Mother, Post-Adoption, Recovery, School, Step Parent, Stress, Support, Teen, )
