Self hypnosis is easy to learn and is an effective way of reducing stress.
Self hypnosis is not a magical trance. It is not “mind manipulation.” It is a way of relaxing your body and focusing your mind so that you can experience a state of calm. The idea behind it is that you can “circumvent” your critical, conscious mind when you are deeply relaxed, and give your deeper, subconscious mind the message that it’s okay to enjoy feeling relaxed.
Make sure you have approximately 15 minutes of uninterrupted time to fully experience this relaxation exercise. Please do not listen to this recording while driving, or while doing anything that needs your attention.
You don’t need to always use this audio. Once you are comfortable with the routine you can do it on your own.
