Classes Taught: Childbirth Prep
I believe that every person has the right to be fully informed and the main decision maker in their birth.
They have the right to choose what is best for their body, baby, and family,
and I believe that my classes are for them to get good information in their hands to be able to make those decisions based on their own value system.
Teaching Style:
Evidence-based, Non-judgmental, Conversational, Supportive.
Background:
I have been working as an outpatient OB Nurse for 3 years at a community health clinic. I’ve trained as a
Birth Doula and attended 10+ births as either a nurse or through my doula training.
Favorite thing about teaching:
I love connecting the dots for people and seeing them grow in confidence. I want people to know what they value when it comes to birth and feel empowered to make that happen.
Personal Interests:
I am married to my husband, We love to go on long walks and explore the beautiful world around us. I love trying new and delicious foods and reading lots of good books.
